The first Heartland Border Walk for MSTM was a huge success. It would not have been possible without our walkers, volunteers and sponsors. The steps we took in 2009 will ensure future steps for those living with MS.
Raising over $60,000 on May 29, 30 and 31, 2009 proved the success of this inaugural event by those who pounded the pavement in Olathe.
Several thousand people and families live with MS in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. The majority of the funds raised will be used to help fight MS by funding research as well as patient assistant programs.
Walkers and volunteers made our inaugural walk a huge success by showing that a small group of dedicated people can make a difference in many lives by taking one step at a time. The hope in our hearts will carry us through to next year, when we continue our journey towards THE CURE!
