The origin of the Heartland Border Walk for MSTM was formed from the discontinuing of the National MS Society's Challenge Walk in Kansas City. A small group of long time supports did not want to see the remarkable and life changing event come to an end.

THE HEARTLAND BORDER WALK FOR MSTM was born!!

In May 2009 the inaugural 3 Day and 50 mile event was held with 23 walkers. These individuals along with sponsors raised over $54,000. In 2010, the Second Annual Heartland Border Walk for MS hosted 50 incredible walkers who raised who over $74,000; once again proving a small group of individuals can make a difference.

Each year we look forward to seeing this event grow to make a difference in more lives of those not only living with MS, but their families as well.
